Hello to anybody who's still out there...Just a quick note that "The Call" is going through the molding phase as we try to get it right. It's coming along and hopefully we can have it finished soon so we can have a little screening get together.

I wanted to mention one thing concerning the Oscars...shame on them for not nominating Chris Nolan for Best Director. Also here are my picks for the major categories (not who I think will win but who I would vote for): Best Picture-Slumdog, Best Actor-Mickey Rourke, Best Actress-Meryl Streep, Best Supporting Actor-Heath Ledger, Best Supporting Actress-tie between Amy Adams & Penelope Cruz, Best Dirtector-Danny Boyle.

There it is and if you disagree with me then you are worse than Hitler!

It's Getting Cold Outside...

Howdy everyone. As I am just now coming out of my turkey day tryptophan coma I figured an update was in order. Rumor has it that there will be a very interesting post coming down the pike in the next few days. So this isn't actually an update but more of an advance warning of an update to come. That being said the schedule for December is looking pretty hectic. Editing is in progress and knowing Clarke probably at this very moment. We have a couple of shots that need to be filmed and that will be completed next week. Then that leaves the score of the film. Several avenues are being explored and no doubt it will come together pretty fast. Can't wait to get everyone back together for the screening and hopefully the big trip to Telluride next summer or at least the Garden State Film Festival. Until the next super secret above classified update i bid you farewell...

Filming is completed boys and girls. Everyone who worked on this film, from the stellar cast to the dedicated crew, deserve a round of applause for making "The Call" a painless and fun movie to work on. Editing will start this week and our search for a composer is underway. We'll see you all in January at the premiere party.

"The Call" enters its final day of filming tomorrow. Joining us on set for the first time will be the lovely Brenda Cooney along with Vin Reccoppa and Jaylen Sansom. The cast and crew have really worked hard but this is just the beginning. Clarke Mayer, aka "The Machine," will be working tirelessly to cut this thing together and mold it into something we can all be proud of. And then who knows...could "The Call" be festival bound???

DeVino to direct a low budget short!

Rumor has it that renowned writer/producer Dale DeVino has a script in the works that has turned some heads. The current title hasn't been anounced yet but word has it that the script has a strong theme of friendship and redemption. We are told that he is looking to shoot in the early spring of 2009. When asked about the current project all DeVino said was "I like this one, it's not quite yet ready, but it's getting some pretty good buzz and positive reactions from readers so far. It's currently been through a few drafts, and I have been told it features some very well written characters. Me and the guys at Killer Goose have been pretty good about keeping some of our recent films under 15 minutes, I think were looking for this one to be a little longer." More to come soon.

The first three days of photography on "The Call" are complete. It was a long, fun and productive weekend sprinkled with a dash of whiplash. The cast and crew really gave a 110% and the footage we have is awesome to say the least. One more day of shooting remains and then we'll be moving into the editing phase. Photos and videos from the set to come shortly.

Cameras Ready to roll on "The Call"

The production crew is ready to roll on "The Call," a sci-fi thriller written and directed by Dan Linke. For those of you who have seen "The Janitor Part IV: Spring Cleaning" you know exactly who I'm talking about. So Friday is the first day of production and we shoot straight through the weekend and then have our final day of principle photography on November 7th. We have a real talented group of people working on this film and it should be alot of fun. Be on the look out for production photos as well as actor and crew profiles. Until next time...

Welcome to the official production blog of Killer Goose Films. This will be the place to find all the info on our upcoming projects. We have a wide array of talent, with different interests and backgrounds so we will have a variety of films coming down the pike.

This is meant to be a daily blog where you can gain access to what we're up to. From pre-production through principle photography this will be the source of everything that's going on including snipits from the set, info on the filmmakers, production photos and screenings we will have planned.
